Harry L. Dadds

Harry is Of Counsel in Stoll Keenon Ogden’s Lexington office. He is a member of the Healthcare and Arbitration & Mediation practices and brings more than 30 years of experience to his work. In his practice, Harry has provided legal advice and representation in a variety of fields including healthcare, public contracting, business transactions, regulatory compliance, taxation, employee benefits and risk management. Since the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act was signed into law in March 2010, Harry has worked with healthcare providers and others in the health care industry to meet PPACA requirements and prepare for its impact.

Previous to SKO, Harry was the Senior Associate General Counsel for the University of Kentucky. He was also Chief Legal Counsel for Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, Tenn.  Harry is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where his received his B.A. and J.D. in 1972 and 1975, respectively.  He received his LL.M. in taxation from Emory University in 1989.

Among several professional and civic engagements, Harry served as secretary of Central Kentucky Management Services from 2004-2012 and as a member of the steering committee for the Kentucky Regional Extension Center for Health Information Technology.  Also, Harry was a captain in the U.S. Army from 1975-1979 and in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1979-1995 attaining the rank of lieutenant colonel.
